Anger Management Program 

Lighthouse Addiction Services provides a specific program for individuals who have problems with anger and violence. The program involves education about anger and how the loss of control affects the participant’s life. The program helps participants to understand their personal needs and to develop behaviors to control anger.

 The anger management program utilizes an educational, discussion group format. A sixteen week structured curriculum is used to facilitate the participant’s examination of his or her problems with anger control.

 As substance abuse is frequently linked to anger issues, a thorough assessment of substance use is completed and referrals for additional substance abuse treatment may be made.
